Frankfurt's most beautiful cellars

One person goes to the cellar to laugh, the next to do handicrafts, another hangs out the laundry there, and we? What draws us to the basement? Apart from the favourable weather, where we long for the cave? Well, in Frankfurt, the answer to a simple question is once again simply diverse! Do we want to indulge in art, wine or simply song? Do we want a lot of plush or a cool, stony ambience? A little 1920s flair? We've got something for everyone, as always, and if you're not happy in this city on the Main, it's your own fault. At least that's what the Instagram hashtag #thankGoditsFrankfurt says. By the way, if you are looking for daily impressions of Frankfurt, you are welcome to follow me on Instagram (ocean_blue_style_blog and on snapchat: oceanbluestyle_blog). I'm looking forward to seeing you!

Now off to the basement tour:

1. Golden mirrors reflect the bar, red sofas invite you to sink in: Guests at the <link http: www.kellertheater-frankfurt.de _blank>Kellertheater are greeted by a bar with a slight Moulin Rouge flair. A bit wicked as befits a theatre underground, where anything is possible and everything happens on stage.

2. The <link http: www.vinum-frankfurt.de _blank>Vinum in the city centre fascinates with its wine-barrel-like romanticism, which gives you the impression that the ghost of Canterville floated past you on the way to the loo. The many flickering candles provide the cosy atmosphere.

3. No question: the <link http: www.jazzkeller.com histories_languages history_deutsch.htm _blank>Jazzkeller is an original like there are many in Frankfurt, which are nevertheless all unique in themselves and where it is enough to mention the name to make the eyes of old-timers light up. Since 1952, musicians have regularly taken to the podium here to make guests and instruments swing.

4. The fact that our Bahnhofsviertel is one of the ten places you should definitely visit according to "Travel & Leisure" Magazine 2016 makes us happy especially because we all don't have a long journey, right? Then, when we get there, it's best to swing into Elbestraße to stop into the basement of <link http: www.facebook.com thekinlybar _blank>Kinly Bar. Why? Well, some people go to basements for a laugh. What about us? -This is why.
