Do you know it? Waking up in the morning and outside is murky? Autumn is blowing at the window and we don't really know what to do with us. Everything's been seen, everything's been checked out. And we dream of the world...or ask ourselves: How does the world taste? Hahaaaa - think! Whenever I live in Frankfurt, the city pulls something new out of its hat: like next week.
How does street cuisine from South America, North America, Asia and Europe taste? Who has the most innovative ideas? Who can be hearty, who exotic, who fresh and light, who crispy and who tender? And who conjures desserts to kneel down? Pret A Diner "AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 BITES" wants to take you from bite to bite into a new world. To be more precise, into the Nextower behind the Zeil, into which normally nobody can get.
The organizers around restaurateur Klaus Peter Kofler promise the street kitchen from heaven, which they want to prepare together with Tim Mälzer and the best street food chefs of the region to the 25th floor of the tower: a street food market in a skyscraper. The "good and simple food" ranges from American marshmellows, interpreted in a European way, to Japanese sushi and Belgian waffles; in addition, street musicians, poets, DJs, artists, painters and other creative people from all over the world will provide entertainment.
The main thing about it is that there will be different ticket prices, for which the guests will receive a ticket like in the Casino Taler to redeem it at the stands. Guests acquire a passport including their own currency. So the fun should be guaranteed and the charm of a location on the 25th floor with a wonderful panoramic terrace promises a nice evening.
Tickets fifteen to 50 Euro over:
