Frankfurt - to show off?

Frankfurt - to show off?

So I took a look around, and we already live nicely here in Frankfurt. No wonder more and more people are drawn to our city. Because it's a good place to live. Do we agree on that?

But recently a friend from Berlin let it be known that nothing would attract her to Frankfurt. Not that I'm wild about impressing capitals, which are actually almost all from Swabia or Ruhrpott. And, after all, we know all too well that a capital city is distinguished above all by the fact that it is n-e-r-v-t.

INSTRUCTION TO BE LOCKER

With our Europe-wide unique selling point, the compact skyline, Frankfurt can hold its own confidently in a German city comparison without having to brag about its "assets". But what if visitors from Hamburg, Berlin or Munich are on your doorstep? Where to take them? The friends and relatives from Bielefeld or Magdeburg are always easy to impress when I drag them to the Main - photo motif "Skyline" presented from the Old Bridge at dusk - *zack* they are enchanted! Ahs" and "Ohs" are guaranteed. Loosely and casually, I then stroll with them along the Main to the skatepark in the Ostend for that authentic "street" feeling like in Brooklyn (quick reference to the European Central Bank), then I coach cousins and girlfriends criss-crossing the city to Germany's shortest luxury mile: Goethestrasse, topped off with an apple wine in a deck chair on the Main. It goes down especially well when grandma, aunt, uncle themselves live in a city without a river! The nonchalant attitude is always important: "Oh, yes, the skyscrapers. Yes, yes, they are beautiful. Shrugging of the shoulders. They're just there, we see them every day. Frankfurt is edgy, village-like, small (with short distances), creative, international like no other city in the country - we know what we have in it. There's no need to brag. Skyline?

Oh, yeah...;-)
