Scavenger Hunt Underground

27.11.2015 | 08:54 Clock | Frankfurt
Scavenger Hunt Underground
Scavenger Hunt Underground

Who doesn't know this? The feeling of having visited everything before, having tried everything before. But what lingers behind is the feeling that there is surely still an unknown, undiscovered corner hidden somewhere. Only when we want to go out with our friends and ponder where to go, nothing comes to mind. So the next weekend will be just like the previous one.

But why don't we just sit down in the streetcar or subway and get to know our beautiful Frankfurt with completely new eyes? Discover completely new spots that we can then rave about to our colleagues at work or to our acquaintances while doing sports? Whether you're a newcomer or a long-time resident, there's always something new to discover here: like the fascinating underground stations, for example. Have you ever taken a look? We're not talking about the Haut- or Konstablerwache, whose charm unfolds more on repeated viewing. There are also less beautiful stations here than in Lisbon or Paris that really inspire you. But they exist. And now comes the discovery tour. Why not organize a scavenger hunt together with friends? Or buy a day pass, get off at the prettiest stations, take a coffee break, and then keep chugging along?

1. Which station combines historic building blocks with artful statements?

2. At which station do we feel like we've landed in the middle of a photo album?

3. At which station do the supporting pillars remind us of palm trees and what could be the reason for this?

4. Which station is at a church and its colors remind you of a
knight's family?

5. Which station houses a statue of a saint? And which one?
