The Hessian ice cream rolls in Frankfurt
When "ice cream pope" Luca Cinelli and "apple wine queen" Johanna Höhl from POMP put their heads together to create new ice cream variations, new extraordinary ice cream trends come about. True to the motto "Can snacking be a sin"? Cinelli´s ice cream studio in MyZeil created creations around cider and apple vinegar.
The ingredients for the new apple wine ice cream are the popular Speyerling apple wine, fruit ice cream to taste, blueberries, finely chopped apple slices and small pretzels.
For gourmets among the "sweet tooth", Dr. Höhl's Apfelessigeis offers an extravagant flavour. The sweet and sour organic apple vinegar with the recipe 1779 is mixed with milk ice, yoghurt and honey and spread very thinly on a 30-degree cold plate - similar to a Crêpes. Depending on the recipe, apples are then chopped up in a flash with two spatulas and a lot of craftsmanship, mixed with the ice cream mass, smoothed out again and scraped down to tender rolls.
And that is even healthy. Apple cider vinegar is an indispensable aid for diabetes. The apple cider vinegar also regulates high cholesterol levels. It also activates digestion, and losing weight without cider vinegar would be almost unthinkable today. "We have created the squaring of the circle, uniquely tasty and healthy to suck," Johanna Höhl and Luca Cinelli are pleased to announce, who once again stand out from other ice cream parlours with the new "Hesseneis-Sorten".
