At the foot of the new Henninger Tower Frankfurt's first official Henninger Brauhaus has opened. Although the city has a long tradition of brewing, there has not yet been a real brewery representing the traditional brand names of Frankfurt's breweries. Matthias Schönberger and Tobias Jäkel, managing directors of the Japanese noodle bar chain MoschMosch, not only want to honour an old tradition with the Henninger on the tower, but also provide it with modern impulses. Your Frankfurter Brauhaus should not only be a meeting place for beer lovers, but for all those who appreciate conviviality and want to enjoy good, down-to-earth food.
Naturally, the focus is on the Frankfurt brewing tradition. In addition to the classic Henninger Kaiser Pilsner, the menu also includes other beer specialities - both with and without alcohol, fresh from the barrel or from the bottle. Wines, apple wine, various spirits, long drinks and non-alcoholic drinks can also be ordered.
In addition, there is a range of dishes that friends of traditional brewery specialities and typical Frankfurt cuisine will be delighted to find. In a really appealing atmosphere, various soups and crunchy salads, but also more hearty dishes such as Frankfurt Schnitzel, cured knuckle of pork or the Braumeister pan, consisting of roast meat, minced meat, green beans, fried egg and fried potatoes, can be eaten. For those who are not suffering from hunger, the really delicious Brauhaus Brotzeitplatte can be recommended. On it you will find Sachsenhäuser snow flurry, hand cheese, boiled eggs, green sauce, Blochbachtaler farm salami, raw and boiled ham, pickled gherkin, butter, bread and pretzel. It fills you up and tastes damn good!
Of course Handkäs, Grie Sooß and Frankfurter Würstchen should not be missing from the range. And the little guests were also thought of: whether noodles with tomato sauce, children's schnitzel or simply a robber plate - children are guaranteed to be satisfied here too. As a special extra KORNMAYERs Manufaktur created some delicacies like the original TURMSAUCE or the TURMSENF, which you can buy directly on site.
The prices of the meals are absolutely fair measured by the portions and the quality. The service was friendly and attentive during our visit, despite the busy early evening. The operators have succeeded very well in bedding original cosiness in a modern ambience. Your brewery looks traditional yet contemporary, so that everyone can feel at home here - whether you are a Frankfurt resident or a guest in our beautiful city, young or old, single or family. In the Henninger am Turm, everyone will feel at home who likes to enjoy a social get-together and culinarily likes it to be down-to-earth.
