Fairytale atmosphere at the foot of the Brothers Grimm monument - that's Hanau's wonderful Christmas market. From 22 November to 22 December 2021, 65 sales and gastronomic stands here invite you to take an atmospheric stroll through the market. Feasting, buying and enjoying of course included - whereby of course also here the current Corona rules apply.
New this year is the event "Winter-Gold", in the context of which the Fronhof at the Schlossplatz for the first time becomes another focal point for arts and crafts. Here, twelve lovingly designed stalls and huts invite visitors to stroll on the Advent weekends Thursdays to Sundays (25.11. to 28.11./2.12. to 5.12./9.12. to 12.12./16.12. to 19.12.).
Also new is the lighting in the city centre, which is literally fairytale-like: above the streets there are new hanging fairytale motifs, in the pedestrian zones the popular and already well-known XXL light figures such as unicorn, deer and roe deer get an addition.
