Six celebrity chefs, the world's biggest kaiserschmarrn, monster burgers with chainsaw and lots of surprises in Germany's biggest cooking show
On 29. January 2016 (20:00 clock) meet six celebrity chefs at the invitation of Johannes B. Kerner in the Festhalle Frankfurt for Germany's biggest cooking show. Alfons Schuhbeck, Johann Lafer, Alexander Herrmann, Cornelia Poletto, Nelson Müller and Kolja Kleeberg have a lot planned. Together they will prepare an original 6-course menu. For two hours they will cook, praise, criticize and taste - passionately, personally and with a lot of fun! Johannes B. Kerner will elicit the refined kitchen secrets from the masters at the stove that give each dish a special touch.
Helpers from the audience will get the unique opportunity to assist the best chefs when potatoes need to be peeled, herbs chopped and dough kneaded. In addition, energetic support is required when beating masses of beaten egg whites - after all, the largest Kaiserschmarrn in the world is to be served at the end! In blind tastings and improvisations, the celebrity chefs are put to a tough but always humorous test. There will also be a lot for the professionals to discover. Together with Johannes B. Kerner, they will share anecdotes from their time cooking together. It can't be ruled out that stories will come to light that have remained hidden from us until now.
That cooking and rock'n roll have a lot in common will be proven by guitar fan Kolja Kleeberg and Nelson Müller. The one moves on the six strings just as adeptly as on the professional stove, the other also lets only the finest ingredients to his vocal chords. When the monster burger is on the menu, no cookware helps: Here Schuhbeck & Co. with flamethrower and chainsaw must get to it!
