Almost 50 Michelin stars will meet from 26 February to 11. March 2015 at the world's most important gourmet festival in Eltville: dinners, cooking shows and luncheons with numerous three-star and two-star chefs as well as international cooking stars from Hong Kong, Bangkok, Mexico City as well as Santa Barbara. "This year, festival guests can look forward to top South African chef Alicia Giliomee from Rhebokskloof Wine Estate, Paarl and Renu Homsombat from the Saffron restaurant of the Banyan Tree Hotel in Bangkok, who is considered one of the best female chefs in Thailand," said Hans B. Ullrich, organizer of the festival and managing director of the Kronenschlösschen.
Further international gourmet coriphae could be won with Enrique Olvera (Pujol, Mexico City) and Richard Ekkebus** (Restaurant <link http: www.restaurant-ranglisten.de restaurants details amber>Amber, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong). Also showcasing their culinary skills are international stars David Kinch** (<link http: www.restaurant-ranglisten.de restaurants details manresa>Manresa, Los Gatos, California), Onno Kokmeijr** (Restaurant <link http: www.restaurant-ranglisten.en restaurants details ciel-bleu>Ciel Bleu, Hotel Okura, Amsterdam), Marc Fosh (Marc Fosh, Mallorca) and Edouard Loubet ** (<link http: www.restaurant-ranglisten.de restaurants details edouard-loubet>Le Domaine de Capelongue, Bonnieux, France).

From Germany, they include three-star chefs Christian Bau, Thomas Bühner, Sven Elverfeld, Klaus Erfort, Kevin Fehling, Kevin Fehling.strong>Kevin Fehling, Harald Wohlfahrt as well as Jean Claude Bourgueil**, Simon Stirnal* and host Sebastian Lühr*.

As culinary delights are only rounded off by the accompaniment of spectacular wines, the best vintners from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Provence and the Rhône, from Burgenland, Tuscany, Piedmont and Sicily, from the Swiss Valais, Rioja, Ribera del Duero and, of course, from the Rheingau and the other German wine regions will be presenting themselves again this year at the Rheingau Gourmet &*.x>Ampersand</x> Wine Festival. Exclusive digestifs such as Rochelt and Nonina complete the enjoyment experience.

Spectacular wine galas include the World Rarities Tasting with the Hessian State Wine Estates, the Tasting and Lunch with 10 vintages of Roederer Cristal, Le Montrachet from Domaine Romanée Conti, Château Lafleur and Château D'Yquem. Also worth mentioning are the Rarities Lunch with Château Leoville-Las-Cases in 30 vintages, the Rarities Dinner with 30 vintages of Château Mouton Rothschild, and "The Best German Pinot Noirs" with 18 top winemakers presenting their wines in person.

Cooking Demonstrations, Workshops and Lunches with the following topics round out the program: New Cooking Techniques / Caviar / Original Kobe Beef / Lobster / Truffles / Spices.

The admission prices for the various events always include the reception with champagne and sparkling wine aperitif and amuse-bouche, the menu, all wines, water and Cellini coffee.
