Obsthof am Steinberg in Frankfurt/Nieder-Erlenbach wins the award in the category "Frankfurt" and Bembel with Care for the "Frankfurt surroundings"
From March to April 2015 the online portal Frankfurt-Tipp called on all Frankfurters to vote for the best cider in Frankfurt and the surrounding area. All cider fans could take part and give their tip via the website www.frankfurt-tipp.de, at the cider worldwide fair in the Gesellschaftshaus in the Palmengarten or via the Frankfurt-Tipp Facebook page.
The winner with the most votes in the category "Frankfurt" was the Obsthof am Steinberg in Frankfurt/Nieder-Erlenbach by Andreas Schneider. Beaming with joy, the happy winner accepted the gold-framed winner's certificate "Best of Apfelwein 2015" amidst his blossoming apple trees.
Also Christoph Trares from Bembel with Care was very happy about winning the award in the category "Frankfurt surroundings". As a product outside of Frankfurt, his cider from the Odenwald meadows was best received by the participants of the voting.
"In our Best of Cider voting, the response of the participants was as big as never before", Sebastian Betzold from Frankfurt-Tipp is happy. "The topic of cider is literally on everyone's lips among the people of Frankfurt."
Among all participants, Frankfurt-Tipp also drew a 100 euro voucher for the winning Obsthof am Steinberg location. The lucky fairy drew Mrs. Monika Walter from Frankfurt, who was very happy about her prize and accepted it personally at the Obsthof during the presentation of the certificate
