Admittedly you have to leave the beautiful city of Frankfurt am Main, which is always difficult for me, but you stay in Hessen and make your way to the state capital.
The way is worth it! In the northwest of Wiesbaden, the city itself runs the Fasanerie animal and plant park. The area, which can be visited free of charge, is about 25 hectares and is home to various animal and plant species.
50 native species, from goats, rabbits and foxes to wolves and bears, can be seen. In the wild the wolves and bears find shelter in the far south and east of the republic.
Furthermore there are different events like animal adventure tours, survival for kids (orienting in nature, building a shelter …) and much more.
At the moment there are a few smaller building measures, which don't spoil the fun!
