Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann again patron
At this soccer tournament the focus is not on winning, but on the sense of togetherness. Integration and togetherness are lived out in sports on this day. Many teams of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged people play a fair tournament together. For example, the teams from Volkswagen Frankfurt, PUMA, Integrative Drogenhilfe e.V., Fußballfreunde Frankfurt (hobby team), Skoda Frankfurt and the Frankfurter Verband für Alten- und Behindertenhilfe e.V.
Oberbürgermeister Peter Feldmann has kindly assumed patronage of this important tournament once again. The 4th Frankfurt football integration tournament this year is supported by the local advisory board 5, VW-Frankfurt and the sporting goods manufacturer PUMA. The Fleckenbühler have been organising the integration tournament since 2013, and in 2015 they were awarded the city district prize of Frankfurt.
The Fleckenbühler also ensure culinary integration. Food and drinks in organic quality are offered by the Fleckenbühler Buffet Service. And in a tombola, visitors can win great prizes such as football jerseys from Bundesliga clubs.
Venue on 12 November is Soccers Point, Hahnstraße 75 in Frankfurt-Niederrad. The kick-off is at 10:00, the end is scheduled for 17:00. The Fleckenbühler wish all participants and visitors a pleasant community experience with lots of fair play.
Since 1984, Fleckenbühler has been an open, consistently sober community that welcomes people in every situation and helps them - based on the members' previous experiences of addiction - to live permanently free of addiction through self-reflection, willingness to learn, honesty, security and work and to lead a self-determined life in the future.
