9th Duck Race Frankfurt at the 8th Frankfurt Rowing Festival

It will soon be that time again: on 28 May 2017, the 9th Duck Race Frankfurt will go into the next round! For the ninth time, the Lions Club Frankfurt/Main SkyLine will host the popular duck race during the 8th Frankfurt Rowing Festival . For a good cause, up to 5,000 swimming ducks go to the start - fun for the whole family.

The shopping center MyZeil supports the event as a partner of the Lions Club Frankfurt/Main Skyline. Duck sponsorships can be taken over directly on site at the action area on 19.05 and 20.05.2017 at the customer information desk on the ground floor. The members of the Lions Club Frankfurt/Main, who will be manning the action area on these two days, will also be happy to provide further detailed information.

On our action area on the ground floor, our customers and visitors can "Guess and win: HOW MANY DUCKS ARE IN THE VITRINE", fill in the ticket and hand it in at our customer information desk and thus send ducks to the starting line for a good cause. The proceeds will be donated to the projects Schmetterling e.V. and PRO Uganda - Prothesen für ein neues Leben e.V.. A starting duck is still available for purchase at the customer information desk until 27.05.2017.

The 9th Duck Race will start on May 28, 2017 at 3:30 pm on the southern bank of the Main River below the Untermainbrücke. The swimming ducks will then swim with the current about 100 meters downstream towards the Holbeinsteg.

In addition to the sale of the ducks at MyZeil, late comers can purchase starting tickets for five euros from May 25 to 27 between 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. and on May 28 from 9:30 a.m. until the start to sponsor a duck. Tickets can also be ordered online at

By taking part, visitors are supporting good causes: taking part is also worthwhile in view of the many great prizes on offer: A flight to the Caribbean island of Tobago or a week's vacation in Florida, travel vouchers and much more awaits the lucky winners. At 5 pm the winners will be crowned at the Holbeinsteg. Absentees will be informed in writing afterwards. The Lions Club Frankfurt/Main SkyLine hosts the event on a voluntary basis and donates the surplus to the projects Schmetterling e.V. as well as PRO Uganda - Protheses for a New Life e.V.
