(ffm) Due to road construction work by the Office of Road Construction and Development, Mainzer Landstraße between Galluswarte and Hafenstraße will be closed from Friday, 2. August, 8 p.m., until Monday, August 5, 5 a.m., fully closed in the direction of the city.
It will be diverted via Camberger Straße, Gutleutstraße, Baseler Platz, Baseler Straße, Am Hauptbahnhof and Karlstraße. Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to pass the construction site.
Bus routes 52 and n8 will be diverted
The 52 will be divided into two sections that meet at Galluswarte: From Griesheim, it is diverted from the Ordnungsamt via Mainzer Landstraße to just before Galluswarte, turns around and returns on the normal route via Kleyerstraße. The stops Galluspark and Kriegkstraße will be cancelled in the direction of Galluswarte. Coming from Schloßborner Straße it ends at Galluswarte and during the City Triathlon on August 4 already at Haus Gallus.
The n8 to Konstablerwache bypasses the area on the night of Monday, August 5, via the parallel Gutleutstraße to Güterplatz. Here the stop "Speyerer Straße" is omitted.
