Glaabsbräu donates two winterly brewing specialties for the cold season

Glaabsbräu, the oldest brewery in southern Hesse and one of the most innovative breweries in Germany, is delighting beer lovers this autumn with two new winter beers. The first is Glaab`s Eisbrecher, which has been on the market for a few days now. With an alcohol content of 7.9% this Craft Beer is a so-called "Strong Blond". This type of beer originally comes from Belgium and is known for its high alcohol content. The unusual combination of two different types of malt, four types of hops and three types of yeast results in a fruity and malty taste with a subtle note of pineapple and almond. An intense and very special taste experience, which once again underlines the brewery's innovative spirit.

Glaab&acute;s Eisbrecher is offered seasonally from mid-October to the end of February and replaces the traditional Glaabsbräu Doppelbock. "With our icebreaker we want to offer our customers an authentic alternative to the Doppelbock. At the same time we would like to introduce new customers to a strong beer during the cold season: Ice cold & buck strong," says master brewer Julian Menner. The classic Doppelbock drinkers get their money's worth with this special beer, because the charm of a Doppelbock is preserved. With "Glaab&acute;s Eisbrecher", Glaabsbräu is now expanding its craft beer range to six brewing specialities.</The icebreaker will be followed in November by the first German winter cyclist ever, especially non-alcoholic, to be launched on the market, the Glaabsbräu Winterradler Alkoholfrei. In terms of taste, the Winterradler Alkoholfrei convinces with the harmony of the tropical fruits mandarin, lemon and orange. The ginger flavour adds a subtle wintery note to the beer. "After the successful introduction of our summer cyclist non-alcoholic, we have considered transferring the typical refreshing summer feeling of a cyclist into the winter. In doing so, the authentic taste of the beer is retained thanks to our gentle dealcoholisation process," emphasises Robert Glaab, head of the brewery. The new beer will be available in stores and restaurants from mid-November. Also in the Euro-bottle 0.33l like the Glaab&amp;acute;s Eisbrecher.</p>

Glaabsbräu brews its beers individually according to its own recipe with natural aroma hops and top-quality raw materials. The beers are natural, without additives, chemical stabilizers and colored beer. This means that Glaabsbräu brews its beers to a higher standard than the German Purity Law. The brewing process is altogether Co2-neutral and saves drinking water.
