Infection figures are rising and rising, while public life is increasingly being shut down. Nevertheless, there will be some minor relaxations at Christmas, not least because many Hessians also want to spend the festive season in the circle of dear people. Those who also want to make sure that Christmas can be celebrated without risk to their own health and the health of their loved ones at private gatherings will be tested.
COVID test center of Medicare opens in the city center
For Frankfurter*innen is the way to the test immediately no longer far, because in time before Christmas opens in the Allerheiligenviertel (Allerheiligenstr. 13, 60313 Frankfurt/Main) the "Covid test center ". This means that Medicare Logistic, in cooperation with MYCREW GmbH from Cologne, is opening its third Corona rapid test centre with immediate effect.
Test result in just 15 minutes
A desired appointment for the Corona test can be made here quite conveniently and contactless online at www.covid-testzentrum.de. This is Medicare's way of ensuring that there is no wait time or large crowds at the site. The test is performed by medically trained staff. The result is available after just 15 minutes via a personal QR code or link.
The sample is taken from the patient via oral-nasal swab. The swab is then placed in the tube containing the buffer solution - any viral particles present are washed out in this way. In the next step of the test, three drops of the extracted solution are dropped into the designated well of the rapid test cassette to detect a possible infection. The test procedure used has been approved by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices.
Increased demand before the holidays
The operators of the test center expect increased demand before the Christmas holidays. "Those who want to spend the holidays with their families worry-free and without risk, get tested at our center. By the previous on-line date assignment we avoid queue formation before the center and grant thus best possible protection ", so Ruediger Keith and Daniel Hessling, the operators of the Frankfurt Covid test center. The "Test to the Fest" costs 39.90 euros.
Behind the "Covid Testzentrum" stands Medicare Logistic around managing director Christof Kaesemann. Part of Medicare's team was working in the events industry until the pandemic hit, putting them in what is now almost a year-long shutdown. In order to cope with the pandemic and to get through the crisis more quickly, Medicare is making a valuable contribution - also to return to a new form of normality in perspective. The courage is paying off: Medicare Logistic is now successfully selling rapid tests as well as protective masks internationally and is planning to open more Covid test centers in Germany.
