On Friday (06.09.) it's that time again: Then the Herbst-Dippemess heralds the end of the folk festival season in the Main metropolis. Around 30,000 visitors are expected over ten days at the fairground on Ratsweg, before the big fireworks display on 15 September will provide a spectacular finale.
The folk festival is always a special highlight - and for all ages. Because there are so many great offers for children and families here, one visit is actually not enough. No wonder that the Children's Day on Tuesday (10.09.) and the Family Day (12.09.) are always particularly well attended.
A total of 117 stands await visitors, from rides, amusement shops, shooting stands, game booths to the merchant and dip market to snacks and sweets. Apart from the SkyVision Ferris wheel, the highlights include the "Eclipse" gondola, which provides adrenaline rushes with several loops at a height of 50 metres, and the Bavarian Olympus. The giant swing Hip Hop Fly or the go-cart track will also attract many enthusiastic visitors again.
As always, the same applies to this Dippemess: better leave the car at home. Because right next to the roller coaster is the stop Eissporthalle/ Festplatz. The underground line U7, the tram line 12 as well as the bus lines 38 and 103 run from here until after midnight and also ensure a good ride home. The U7 also offers more space almost throughout due to additional carriages.
We hope you have fun at the Dippemess in autumn 2019<./p>
