The royal visit of Ice Queen Elsa and Ice Princess Anna is celebrated
The Hessen-Center opened its new parking deck this morning. Center Manager Olaf M. Kindt was the first visitor to welcome St. Nicholas, who arrived with a Vespa decorated for Christmas. After almost one and a half years of construction, the first 750 parking spaces are now in operation.
New parking deck with direct access to the center
The new multi-storey car park offers a range of additional services and modern comforts, including numerous pitches with special features, specially reserved pitches for women, families with children, customers with disabilities, numerous widened pitches with a minimum width of 2.75 metres and covered bicycle pitches. M. Kindt, Center Manager Hessen-Center Frankfurt: "I am glad that we were able to keep our promise to be able to open the parking deck during the very important Christmas season. With the new parking decks, we are creating very good shopping conditions for our visitors."
Alexander Kemling, Project Manager of the construction company Max Bögl, is satisfied with the opening of the first parking deck. "The works have been completed on schedule. All builders and suppliers have put their skills to work to meet the completion date. After a short breather we will continue in January with the construction of the second parking deck."
P>Pertinent to St. Nicholas Day, St. Nicholas will be in action all day long today and tomorrow, Saturday, and will delight the little visitors. He receives support from the angels and bellboys of the Celestial Service as well as from many life-size mascots who accompany him on the opening day between 13.00 and 18.00 o'clock. On 07.12. the Nikolaus is accompanied between 13.00 and 18.00 o'clock even by snow queen Elsa, ice princess Anna and snowman Olaf.
Investment in attractive, contemporary overall appearance of the Hessen-Center Frankfurt
Total over 45 million € will be invested in the redesign of the Hessen-Center Frankfurt. The center will be extensively modernized, redesigned and significantly upgraded for customers and tenants. In autumn 2020, visitors to eastern Frankfurt will be offered even more with more than 1,400 new parking spaces, additional services and improved facilities.
"Our goal is to significantly increase the quality of the shopping center in eastern Frankfurt, which has been popular for decades," continued Olaf M. Kindt. "With a contemporary look, modern services and an attractive atmosphere, we want to inspire our many regular customers and also win new customers".
In the course of the new multi-storey car park construction, the public image of the Hessen-Center will also be significantly improved. With an attractive anthracite-coloured facade optic, new green strips and modern lighting, the integration in the district is emphasised and the centre is brought closer to the Borsigallee optically.
Also, work continues inside the centre. The modernization and beautification of the mall is progressing. The tenant mix will also be supplemented by new concepts and upgraded with additional attractive tenants. Among other things, the more than 5,000 m² large food area was leased to EDEKA. The opening of the grocery store is planned for summer 2020.
The Hessen-Center Frankfurt with its 115 shops is the shopping experience in the east of Frankfurt. The sector mix individually tailored to the region is the focal point for shopping and communication. In a covered shopping street on a sales area of approx. 39,100 sqm, the center combines a department store, clothing stores and fashion boutiques, specialist shops for jeans and casual wear, shoes and accessories as well as perfumeries and service shops, cafés and restaurants. Throughout the year, the Hessen-Center Frankfurt offers its daily thousands of visitors interesting and spectacular activities and events that make shopping an experience.
