Although the spring with warmer temperatures could bring a hoped-for relaxation in the new infections caused by the coronavirus, the hope of being able to hold larger events again then is unfortunately no more than pure wishful thinking. The organisers of the Spring Ball in the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten are well aware of this. And that is why Robert Mangold, Managing Director of Ballsaal GmbH and the Palmengarten and Botanic Garden Foundation, have decided to postpone the Spring Ball, which was scheduled to take place on April 24, 2021, to Saturday, October 23, 2021. Along with the postponement, there is also a new name: The Spring Ball will become the Palmengarten Ball!
"It is one of the most beautiful balls in Frankfurt am Main and an integral part of the Frankfurt Society's calendar of events. We want to continue this tradition under a new name, as the Palmengarten Ball. We assume that by October 2021 we will have overcome the pandemic and can celebrate exuberantly and carefree," says organizer Robert Mangold.
In the 150th anniversary year of the Palmengarten, the social highlight will take place with a perfectly coordinated entertainment program and top gastronomy. "We have spoken to all the artists* and we are delighted that they are willing to perform at the 7th Palmengarten Ball on the stages in the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten. We are glad that Adel Tawil shows understanding for the current situation and has confirmed his commitment also in October 2021. Furthermore performing are: Varietéartists of the Tigerpalast, the London band Muzika, the great King Kamehameha Club Band as well as DJ Simoné. The Palmengarten Ball 2021 will be hosted by Evren Gezer.
