The MuseumsuferCard - The Gift Tip for Culture Lovers

(ffm) One Year, 34 Museums and Unlimited Art and Culture Enjoyment: All this is only possible with the MuseumsuferCard of the City of Frankfurt. As a single ticket for 95 euros or as a family ticket for 165 euros per year, it not only offers free admission to all participating museums and their exhibitions, but also to the Night of the Museums and the Museumsuferfest. The start date is freely selectable, but it must be started in the course of the coming year.  

Concepts include large houses such as the Städel, the Museum MMK für Moderne Kunst, the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt and the Senckenberg Naturmuseum as well as insider tips for museums such as the Kuhhirtenturm and the Eintracht Frankfurt Museum am Stadion. With 26,000 tickets sold, the annual ticket for the city of Frankfurt is more popular than ever before: "With the MuseumsuferCard you can enjoy the high-calibre work of all the participating museums and their attractive exhibition programme for a year without complications. A beautiful gift for culture lovers and everyone who wants to become one," says Ina Hartwig, Head of the Department of Culture  

All special exhibitions can be visited in addition to permanent exhibitions - and the preview for 2020 is tempting. The Städel Museum presents both Van Gogh and Rembrandt, the DFF - Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum presents an exhibition on the "Sound of Walt Disney" and the Senckenberg Museum of Nature opens new rooms on "Marine Research" and "Deep Sea" in spring 2020. The Historical Museum takes over the successful exhibition of the Dresden Hygiene Museum "Racism. Die Erfindung von Menschenrassen". 

And also the Schirn Kunsthalle offers with the exhibition "Fantastische Frauen. Surreal worlds from Meret Oppenheim to Frida Kahlo" will be a special highlight next year. The Stoltze Museum and the Struwwelpeter Museum welcome their visitors in the new Old Town and in 2020 the museum complex of the Jewish Museum will be added. In addition, the MuseumsuferCard will enable you to visit the Night of the Museums on 25 April next year with free admission and invites you to the Museumsuferfest from 28 to 30 August. Families who are enthusiastic about culture can use their family card for two adults (in a partnership) and all their own children or grandchildren under 18 to take advantage of the entire offer.
