Not only in the Bembel tastes the Frankfurt Äppelwoi simply delicious. The Äppler is also excellent as an ingredient for a dessert. To prepare the Frankfurt Äppelwoi cream, you will need the following ingredients:


- 0,5 litre Frankfurter Äppelwoi

- 4 eggs

- 50 g sugar

- ¼ litre cream

- 1.5 packets gelatin (ground)


First, separate the yolks from the whites of the four eggs. While you beat then the yolk with the sugar foamy, pour slowly the Äppelwoi to it. Then dissolve the gelatine according to the instructions on the packet and whisk it into the mixture. While the cream is gelling, use the time to whip the egg whites and the cream separately until stiff. When the cream has started to thicken a little, then fold in the cream and then the egg whites.

The whole thing then needs to go into the fridge to chill before you can enjoy this Äppelwoi dessert in all its deliciousness.
