Where the Eintracht players usually fight for points in the Bundesliga, numerous great events are held during the summer break. One in particular is the popular FESTIVAL4FAMILY. As the name suggests, this is a festival for the whole family with numerous hands-on activities, star guests on stage, sport, talks, music and much more. No wonder that in the past years more than 20,000 visitors have come to the event, which was created by Trifels Verlag. In 2018, this number is expected to be even surpassed. And given the great offerings that visitors can experience and enjoy with free admission, it is more than likely that this will be achieved.

For the seventh time, the largest indoor family fun event in the Rhine-Main area will take place on the hallowed turf and grounds in front of the arena. In 2011, it was held for the first time at Eintracht Frankfurt's performance centre to celebrate the winners of the children's painting competition, which was launched in 2005. Following its great success, the family festival was then able to move to the Commerzbank Arena, where it has since become one of the most important family festivals in Germany. With the support of numerous national and regional partners, the Festival4Family is of course first and foremost about having fun. But the organizers also have an important message at heart.

This year's colorful show program on the big event stage includes something for every taste and age. This year, the popular HR3 host Tobi Kämmerer will lead through the colorful stage program. In addition to "Your Song winner Leontina, children's cult singer Oliver Mager, "The Super Talent participant Salvatore will also perform.strong>Salvatore and Dave Amoncio as well as Frank and his friends from the Europapark will be on stage. And also visitors from far away galaxies have announced themselves! Be curious what other surprises the Festival4Family has in store for you!

This year the family festival has some very special highlights to offer. In addition to the Tatütata Park, where you can learn about the work of the city's mini fire department, among other things, there is also a giant bouncy castle from Bridgestone or even the KETTCUP- race. Furthermore, the dm-phototruck is on site, where you can print out your souvenir photos of the festival right away. The Europa-Park Junior Club invites you to a virtual roller coaster ride with the Coastiality VR experience and the travel destination Italy presents itself with a stand where there will be a children's cooking show with celebrity chef Mirke Reeh. Of course, the meanwhile 13th Trifels Children's Painting Competition may not be missing. And for the benefit of the Festival4Family charity partners, a big raffle and charity sale will take place again in 2018. This year, the festival will financially support three charity partners from the Rhine-Main area: The Bärenherz Stiftung, the Frankfurter Kinderbüro and the Stiftung Lesen.

That's not all, of course: a visit from Maya the Bee, the Tatütata Park, raffles, hands-on activities, sports activities, the Mascot Parade, the Ghostbusters, and on and on.
