The Regional Garden Show in Bad Schwalbach

Flowers, Garden and Culture

Bad Schwalbach is blooming. Since April 28, the motto in the beautiful Taunus town has been "Experience nature. Live naturally." Until 07 October, the 6th Hessian State Horticultural Show can be seen in the town's historic Kurpark, which is shining in new splendour on the occasion of the horticultural show. Of course, colorful flowers, fascinating show gardens and information about garden culture are the focus. But the state horticultural show has a lot more to offer, of which we want to give you a small impression in this special.

The State Garden Show

On an area of 12.4 hectares, visitors are invited to a very special rendezvous in the spa park. Simply looking, being inspired or getting helpful tips around your own garden is possible here while strolling through nine show gardens, the changing flower shows or during the presentation of country life in the Taunus. Traditional elements are mixed with current garden culture and green lifestyle to form an exciting whole. The colourful diversity, which is revealed in particular in the 32,216 planted flowers of the path-flowering magic, serves not only to provide a wonderful escape from everyday life, but also to get to know the region, its agriculture, garden culture and nature better.

In total, the State Garden Show offers ten different themed areas. From the "Fragrant Reception" to the "Flower Walk," a variety of design options for the mostly annual plants will be on display.

More than just flowers - The supporting programme

In addition to the flowers and plants, some 1,200 events will be offered throughout the duration of the State Garden Show. After all, culture, pleasure and experience are just another big part of the garden show. The offer reaches from a miniature golf course in the midst of an approx. 600 m² large flower sea over Showkochen with Mirko Reeh, different topic weeks and exhibitions up to concerts, Workshops, guidance and theatre. Whether young or old, whether garden or pleasure lover, whether pop or classical music fan - with the extensive offer really everyone comes at his expense.
