Harheim is located on the north-eastern outskirts of Frankfurt and celebrated its 1200th anniversary in 1986.
The tranquil district, situated on the Eschbach not far from where it flows into the Nidda, has retained its village character to this day, despite a number of new development areas.
The small Marienkapelle of 1763 with a statue of the mother of Jesus is located in the Eschbachaue. </Despite a bubbling spring, which does not freeze even in winter, the village, which was independent until it was incorporated into Frankfurt in 1972, was not declared a health resort. </In the 1980s, Harheim even achieved TV fame when the Hessian Broadcasting Corporation (Hessischer Rundfunk) shot the series "Die Wilsheimer" here.</p>Back to overview
