Hochheim Market 2024

A modern traditional market for the whole family

The time has come! From November 8 to 12, 2024, the largest autumn market in the middle of Germany will be celebrated. The Hochheim market has been celebrated for over five centuries. And even though high-tech has found its way into the rides today, tradition is still very important here. The offer, which attracts guests from all over the Rhine-Main region, is extensive: a market, trade and vehicle exhibition, trade fair tent, cattle market, amusement park with high-tech and family rides, a marquee with daily live music and a large historical market section make the Hochheim market one of the most beautiful folk festivals in the region in 2024.

The offer is again this year as usual varied: Krammarkt, RV or vehicle exhibition, fair tent, livestock market, amusement park with high-tech and family rides, daily live music acts, a variety of beverage and food stalls and also again a large historical market part invite to the market.

In the area of the "sun wheel" Ferris wheel, which presents itself in the middle of the event area, the opening ceremony will take place on market Friday punctually at 12:00.

Totally, about 600 businesses will be represented on the 70,000 square meter event area on the five days of the event, including about 350 Krammarkt merchants, 70 snack stands, 60 wine, mulled wine, beer and other beverage stands, as well as a handsome number of showman businesses. Products for the house, home and garden, health and fitness articles, household appliances and much more will be presented in the fair tent and on the open-air exhibition grounds.

Highest mobile looping carousel in the world and roller coaster

On one of the front sides of the market area will be the usual number of modern and fast-paced ride highlights. This year with it is the highest mobile Loooping carousel in the world (indication of the operator). Indeed, the figures of the giant swing "Infinity" with 65 meters of flight height, 40 meters of height in the stand, 61 meters of flight radius and 125 km/h speed are impressive. Further to be encountered is the funhouse "Aquavelis", on three floors the running business offers a water fun maze for the whole family

On multiple request, the organizers have again engaged a "Break Dancer", which has already provided with his driving, his effects and special evening performances, on the last two markets for furor in Hochheim.

After many years of abstinence, the makers have managed to place a roller coaster again. The cult family roller coaster "Wild Mouse" offers a fast-paced and twisty ride at heights of up to 14 meters. Of course, visitors will once again be able to enjoy and experience the classic rides - such as the bumper car or the wave flyer, as well as a variety of children's rides, family rides and amusement rides.

Eintracht Frankfurt on the Hochheim market

This year, the traditional Hessian club and UEFA Euro Leaque winner Eintracht Frankfurt will once again take part in the traditional Hochheim market from November 8 to 12, 2024 to present itself to the region.

The large presentation stand will have everything the Eintracht heart desires in terms of fan merchandise. Visitors can also find out about the Junior Adler Kids Club and membership of Hessen's biggest sports club. If you still haven't had enough, you can take part in competitions or play table football.

Market Tuesday all about family

The Hochheim Market Tuesday is all about family. Sn the all-day family day take part in addition to the rides also many gastronomic, as well as confectionery stands. Throughout the day, there will be special offers for families. Visitors can see which stands are taking part by looking at the posters "Family Day - we're joining in". It is especially nice that families were also thought of at the big closing fireworks. Start is already at 19 o'clock. This allows then even small visitors to experience the great color splendor of the spectacle.

Animal shows, livestock market, pony rides and country animals

An integral part of the over 500 years young market have always been the animals, which are the focus on three of a total of five event days.

The horse breeding association Main-Taunus-Wiesbaden invites to the kick-off on the market Saturday to the district horse show and various horse demonstrations.

The city of Hochheim and the Federal Association of German Galloway Breeders invite on the following market Sunday to the Galloway cattle show, which is considered the largest show in Germany. Horse and Galloway show both start at 9.30 am.

Completes the "animal offer" with the large livestock market held on Market Monday. There mooing, neighing, bleating or cackling it already from 7.00 o'clock in the morning.

In addition to the animals, visitors can also stock up with riding and pet accessories or even pet food. Again, however, also a direct marketer offers regional products from own production.

Special highlight for children: On all three days there is the possibility Shetland ponies to ride or but also only to lead. The area at the Käsbachtal offers ideal conditions for it. Furthermore, there will be all day the animal exhibition "animals from the country", which will offer all small and large visitors the opportunity to look at sheep or even donkeys from close range and to convey a little knowledge by means of display boards.

In order not to have to manage the route to the livestock market area on foot, visitors will again have the opportunity to use the "Mainova-Viehmarkt-Express" this year, the Bimmelbahn will again shuttle between the two event areas.

"Mainova-Viehmarkt-Express" goes to Viehmarkt

Also this year, between the Hochheim market area and the so-called Käsbachwiesen, a Bimmelbahn used by the organizers will run and bring visitors to the various events of the Viehmarktgelände.

On all three days, the horse show on market Saturday, the large young animal Gallowayschau on market Sunday and to the livestock market on market Monday - the train will shuttle from two stops (Königberger Ring/Danziger Allee and Königberger Ring/Am Weiher) regularly and free of charge between livestock market and market grounds.

During the ride, passengers will again learn all sorts of interesting information about the town of Hochheim am Main, the Hochheim market and its livestock market events. The train will thus not only facilitate the short journey to the event site, but also provide passengers with interesting facts about Hochheim as well as offer a little relaxation from the "shopping stress".

The visit to the Hochheim market is worthwhile for young and old!
