Live Concert Highlights 2019

In Frankfurt, national and international stars regularly gather on all the small and large stages of the city. No matter if smooth singer/songwriter sounds or hard metal, bombastic musical productions or intimate living room concerts - there is something for every taste. Some of the highlights that await you in the coming months at the Festhalle, the Alte Oper, the Batschkapp, the Jahrhunderthalle or one of the numerous other locations, we have compiled here for you.

Thanks to musicians such as Mark Forster, Christina Stürmer, Joel Brandenstein, Clueso or Gregor Meyle, German pop music has become socially acceptable again. The young German-speaking music scene is more versatile than it has been for a long time. Catchy pop, clever rhymed rap, soft chansons or poetic singer/songwriter sounds - the German-speaking music scene offers the right music for almost every taste. Some of the big stars will play their songs live in Frankfurt again soon. These artists are:

The German "Schlager" is experiencing a real renaissance - thanks to artists like Helene Fischer & Co. Newcomers and greats of the past are celebrating great successes in the charts and filling the big arenas. In the coming months some big names from the "Schlager" world - from Vanessa Mai or Roland Kaiser to Andrea Berg - have announced concerts in Frankfurt and the surrounding cities. In addition to newcomers and current superstars, many stars from the 70s and 80s will return to the big stage in the coming months too. The rockers of Lynyrd Skynyrd for example will be on Tour for the last time, the Beach Boys will spread joy with their unique surf sound and with Take That one of the most successful boygroups of all times proves that such bands can be successful for decades.

Besides the big stars, there are also some really special live performances that you shouldn't miss. There are big movies like HARRY POTTER or LORD OF THE RINGS with live orchestra accompaniment, the ABBA Gold Show returns to the stage and also the popular TV show LET´S DANCE (the German version of "Dancing with the Stars") becomes a live event.
