REWE Family 2017

Your family event in Bad Vilbel

How can you tell it's summer? By the high temperatures? By the fact that it doesn't get dark until late? No, you can tell by the fact that there are many beautiful open air events on offer. One of them is the big family event REWE Family, which will take place in Bad Vilbel on Saturday, 24 June 2017. In the castle park and on the fairground you will be offered a really great program. Of course, the little ones in particular will have a lot of fun. But also adults will get a lot for eyes, ears and taste buds.

The REWE Music Stage

One of the very big highlights of the event is undoubtedly the big show stage. Here, the popular host Guido Cantz - known from "Verstehen Sie Spaß?" and from his solo programme "Blondiläum" - and Daniel Fischer from Hitradio FFH will lead through the day's top-class programme. Top acts such as Madcon, the freshly crowned "Let`s Dance" winner Gil Ofarim, chart topper Wincent Weiss ("Musik sein", "Feuerwerk") and the Austrian pop band Tagtraeumer will do the honours on stage. In addition, between the music acts there will be the fast-paced REWE Family stage show featuring dance and drum performances, hip-hop, slackline and rope skipping.

Enjoy with REWE Family

Enjoyment is also writ large at the festival. Thus, in the REWE Deine Küche Genuss-Arena, celebrity chefs Frank Buchholz and Andi Schweiger will serve you information and inspiration on the topic of cooking & nutrition. The cooking shows are presented by TV and radio presenter Andreas Wurm - known as the stadium announcer at the international matches of the German national football teams.

If these presentations have made you hungry, you can satisfy it at the REWE Street Food Market. Here, food trucks from the region present a "best of" the current street food scene - completely "chilled out" with relaxed DJ sounds. This year, Eritrean cuisine from Kitsha, everything to do with potatoes from Food Station No. 1, Food Event with premium burgers and Colombian specialities from Las Columbianas will be there.

The theme of "enjoyment" is also the focus of the new experience world "From your region". Here you can talk to farmers and producers from the region. You can also find out which products are grown close to where you live and therefore have the shortest possible, environmentally friendly route to your kitchen. This is not only interesting, but also a good aid for the decision-making process for your next purchase. Little gardeners can take up seeds & soil themselves in this world of experience and then take their own mini-gardens home with them.

Sports, Fun and Relaxation at REWE Family

While young foosball talents can prove themselves in the REWE Football World - whether at the goal wall or at the XXL tabletop tabletop - visitors can relax in the REWE Beauty Lounge.strong>REWE Beauty Lounge to find out about the latest beauty trends, enjoy fresh smoothies or listen to fashion talks on the Beauty Stage.

For the little ones there is another very special place to go: the REWE Kinderland.

For young visitors between the ages of 3 and 10, this area is a real paradise with its giant roller slide, tractor races and many other activities. Along the way, the kids learn a lot about food and the right way to handle it.

A real special feature in Bad Vilbel is the giant wheel, from which you have a great view of the festival area and the city.

One more tip: To really enjoy the event, you should travel by public transport. With S-Bahn and buses you can reach the festival area easily.
