Frankfurter Apfelwein Botschaft

In addition to the cozy dining room, this traditional Frankfurt restaurant in Rödelheim also has a beautiful apple wine garden, which invites you to linger in the summer. Shady trees ensure that it is pleasant here even when it is hotter. Ciders, draft beer and bottled beers such as the popular Wäldches Kirsche + Bier provide additional refreshment. Small and larger appetites can also be satisfied here with salads, tarte flambée, Schneegestöber or Frankfurter Schnitzel and other regional dishes.

To the wheel

The traditional apple wine pub in Frankfurt - Seckbach pleases with its large summer garden. About 350 guests can be entertained in the idyllic ambience under old chestnut trees. Of course, here primarily apple wine comes into the glasses. But various types of beer, such as Schlösser Alt or Allgäuer Büble Edelbräu and Henninger Radler, can also be ordered. And for the little ones there is a separate children's corner.

Niddastrand

You will find an idyllic mixture of beach bar and beer garden with a good portion of holiday feeling in the district Nied, not far from the Nidda. Amidst meadows and trees lies the small sandy beach, where you can enjoy freshly tapped beer, cocktails and other drinks. A little paradise, which can also be rented for private parties like weddings and birthdays, but also for corporate events.

Brauereigasthof "Zur Mainkur"

The traditional inn with beer garden is known for its home-brewed beer. The Frankfurt microbrewery "Bier-Hannes" supplies the guests in the beer garden at the Mainkur. First and foremost, hearty home cooking is served. If you like it rustic, this is the place for you. It is primarily the various beer specialties from the "Bier-Hannes", which attract a visit to the up to 100 guests beer garden.

Paulaner Platzhirsch am Main

Directly on the banks of the Main, near the Gerbermühle and the Ich monument, is the Platzhirsch restaurant, which opens its large beer garden on the Main in fine weather. Here you can enjoy the view of passing ships and often water sports enthusiasts, while Paulaner beers on tap or from the bottle, various wines, as well as Frankfurt specialties, steak or classics such as Schnitzel or Matjesfilet are served.

Bootshaus Frau Rauscher auf dem Main

The floating beer garden on the Main is located directly at the Eisernen Steg on the Sachsenhausen side. Thus, the boathouse offers a wonderful view of the river and the skyline opposite. Here you can enjoy a variety of bottled and draught beers, apple wine, Frankfurter Kranz liqueur or wines, as well as small hot dishes such as Frankfurter sausages or soups. Coffee, cake and ice cream are of course also available. All this makes the boat house a popular destination not only for tourists.

Old Ship Reporting Office

Where once the passing ships on the Main were recorded and counted, today lies a wonderful place to relax, socialize and enjoy: the Schiffsmeldestelle Höchst, or SMS for short. From April to October, the mixture of beach bar and beer garden invites visitors to simply unwind, enjoy the sun on deck chairs or have a cool drink with friends. And when the square is lit up by torches and candles in the evening, the old ship reporting point is definitely one of the most romantic places in town.

Bornheimer Ratskeller

The Bornheimer Ratskeller, which reopened in 2018, is open all year round. The open kitchen allows guests to look over the shoulder of chef Mario Furlanello and his team as they prepare the delicious dishes. But it's especially nice in summer: the beer garden in the picturesque inner courtyard beckons you outside - with a beautiful view of Bornheim. It's a great place to stay a little longer with a glass of cider, a refreshing beer and exquisite delicacies from the kitchen.

The goose season starts here again on 11 November 2023. The whole goose for 4 people can then be pre-ordered. The 3-course menu costs €60 per person, without starter and dessert €44.
