Camping Mainkur

Located very close to the banking metropolis is this small, lovingly run campsite. Located directly on the Main River, the site offers plenty for the eye. There are plenty of tent and RV sites and a playground for kids. The little ones will also be fascinated by the numerous ships that pass by here. The proximity to Frankfurt's city centre offers plenty of leisure activities for the whole family - from shopping to museum visits and trips to the city forest. Important to know: The well-kept site is close to the B8 and a railway line. This means that it can be a little noisy at times. If you are easily disturbed by traffic noises, this could spoil your stay. Who can fade it on the other hand, which experiences here not least by the many green and the proximity to the water a really nice time.

Campingplatz Dreieich-Offenthal

Awarded four stars by the DTV, this campsite in the Offenthal district of the town of Dreieich offers plenty of nature and comfort on 3.2 hectares. Surrounded by forest and various paddocks and excursion destinations such as Hayn Castle, the site is perfect for a hiking holiday. A perfect destination for families: the Messel Pit, which is a World Heritage Site with its fascinating fossil finds. The site itself offers free Wi-Fi, a lounge with table tennis and table football, and a swimming pool to cool off in on hot days. Whether for a short visit or for permanent campers, this campsite's location and facilities offer plenty of opportunities to unwind from the stresses of everyday life.

Campground on the Rhine

The 3-acre site has been around for over 60 years. Its location is truly gorgeous with its direct proximity to the Rhine. It is also not far to the city centre of Rüdesheim. Here are numerous leisure possibilities for young and old. A highlight are the boat trips on the Rhine - you simply have to do that! Close to the campsite you will also find the open-air swimming pool of the city of Rüdesheim, as well as a mini-golf course and an adventure playground. So this beautiful place is also very suitable for families. The campsite offers over 180 pitches with electricity incl. 40 grass pitches for motor caravans (no permanent pitches), which are equipped with drinking water and sewerage. In addition, there are washing machines and dryers, a kiosk and a terrace with bar, which offers a beautiful view of the Rhine.

Campingplatz Am Steinrodsee

This beautiful campsite is located in the recreational area Steinrodsee between Darmstadt and Frankfurt am Main. Whether taking a walk around the lake or relaxing by the fire pit, you can really enjoy yourself here. The site is conveniently located, making excursions to Frankfurt or Darmstadt a real possibility. For children there is a playground with slide, swing and climbing frame. WLAN is available and can be used on the entire site after purchasing access tickets. Those who do not want to sleep in a tent, but do not have their own caravan, can rent a standard or a comfort caravan here.

Campingplatz Riedsee

This campsite is highly recommended, especially for families. Surrounded by beautiful nature and located on a bathing lake with good water quality, the well-maintained campsite with its offer is aimed especially at visitors who are looking for peace and relaxation. Those who want to have a camping party are wrong here. Instead, there are many leisure activities and play facilities for children and idyllic spots that offer pure relaxation. Important: dogs are not allowed on the site. During the bathing season there is a kiosk and stalls, as well as a beach bar where you can enjoy the sunset over the Riedsee atmospherically around a campfire.

Campingplatz Mörfelden

The family-run business, now in its 3rd generation, offers genuine feel-good holidays for short, long-term or seasonal campers on around 50,000 square metres. On the site, which is surrounded by woods and meadows, the focus is on ECOCAMPING: High standards and environmental and nature protection at the same time - for this, the site has been awarded 4 stars as first class by the German Tourism Association (DTV), among others. The campsite is easy to reach by car, but is also well connected to public transport. WLAN is available, as well as a children's playground with a large sandy area and an Italian restaurant with a large garden pub directly at the site.

City Camp Frankfurt

The big plus of this campsite, located in the Frankfurt district of Heddernheim near the Nidda, is its proximity to the city. Whether by bike, car or train (it's only a 3-minute walk from the site to the nearest subway station) - from here you can be quite quickly in the city center, but still enjoy real camping feeling on the 24,000 m² large area. Shopping facilities are available in the vicinity, for WLAN day tickets can be purchased. Place reservation runs via an online booking system.
