EatDoori
Bombay Palace
Mera Masala
Akmal Sweets & Fast Food Center
Namaste India
Saravanaa Bhavan

EatDoori

Authentic street food from India with a modern twist is served here in a pleasant urban industrial atmosphere. A good selection of curries, salads, tandori and side dishes actually offer just the right thing for every taste. We recommend the Singh's Wings (chicken wings marinated in honey and ginger and sautéed with spring onions) and the Ginger Chilli Prawns, which get a special kick from the marinade. But even those who like vegetarian food will get their money's worth at eatDoori.

In addition to the restaurant in the Nordend, there are also two other eatDoori branches in Frankfurt: one at Kaiserstraße 55 and one at Foodtopia in MyZeil (4th floor.

Bombay Palace

No Indian restaurant has existed in Frankfurt for so long. The Chicken Bombay is the specialty of the house, which was chosen in 2016 in the program "Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal" as the best Indian restaurant in Frankfurt. The sauce of the Chicken Bombay dish is particularly creamy and convinces with the intensity and balance of flavours. An indispensable accompaniment to all dishes is definitely the home-baked bread. It is fluffy, soft and aromatic. Vegetarians can also look forward to a wide selection of Indian specialties.

Mera Masala

The Tandoori Restaurant aims to offer its guests a feast for the senses, achieved through the use of various spices, but also through the ambience and subtle music. For those who like it a little spicier, the Murg Tikka Mera Masala (tender juicy pieces of chicken fillet in a cream sauce with tomatoes, honey and butter) is recommended. But also the Palek Paneer (Indian cheese in spinach) or the lamb dishes can convince as well as the very friendly service. And the mango lassi is not to be missed.

Akmal Sweets & Fast Food Center

You can get a good selection of vegetarian and meat dishes at the station district. The samosa plate is perfect for small appetites, tastes great and is unbeatable in price. The lamb curry is pleasantly spicy and really tasty. However, if you like it cozy, you are wrong here, because the snack bar offers only standing tables to eat the food.

Namaste India

You should definitely try the tandoori specialties here. Whether Chicken Tikka (chicken pieces, grilled on a skewer after 24 hours of marinade) or Chicken Pahadi Kabab (chicken marinated and grilled in the Tandoor), here the quality of the meat as well as the vegetables and spices are convincing. This is also evident in lamb dishes such as Palak Gosht (tender pieces of lamb roasted with onions and tomatoes, cooked with leaf spinach in an aromatic mixture of spices). Finally, it may be something sweet like the delicious Mango Kulfi!

Saravanaa Bhavan

This place specializes in the pure vegetarian cuisine of South India. Highly recommended are for example the Uthappams, pancakes made of rice and lentils, which are offered in different variations. But also the naan prepared in a clay pot or the vegetable pulao (cooked basmati rice with mixed vegetables and mild Indian spices) will spoil your palate. A really big choice, from soft to spicy and from a small snack to a filling meal!
