Licher Waldschwimmbad

This idyllic bathing lake is located in the forest at the edge of the small town of Lich. About 7000 m² the water surface is available as a designated swimming area. The forest swimming pool is operated by a non-profit association. Non-members are also welcome (but must pay admission). There is a toddler pool, a kiosk, a beach volleyball field and much more. A place that is run with a lot of passion and is always worth a visit.

Important info: members must absolutely bring their tickets. These are scanned at the entrance. Day guests must enter their data at the entrance. Swimming is in "one-way street". Otherwise: Please keep a distance of 1,5m between you and the swimming pool

. Guests who are not members of the swimming pool pay the daily entrance fee: 4 Euro for adults and 2,50 for children

Natural outdoor pool Großer Woog

>A recreation paradise in the middle of the big city - this is the natural outdoor pool Großer Woog in Darmstadt. Consisting of the "family bath" and "island", this is where bathing fun in natural waters becomes a pleasure. For those who prefer swimming, there is a family pool between a non-swimmer, a swimmer and a tower area. Those who simply want to relax should retreat to the island, where the everyday stress can be perfectly eliminated. A wonderful destination for the whole family.

Open-air swimming pool Büdingen

The freshly renovated swimmer and non-swimmer pools invite you here for a refreshing swim and splashing. For the very brave there is a real highlight on offer: The 10 meter diving tower - the only one of its kind in the region. If you are not looking for adrenaline rush but for relaxation, you will get your money's worth on the 5000 square metre sunbathing lawn with its mature tree population. For small children there is a water play garden. And those looking for activities outside the water will find big chess, a table tennis table and a beach volleyball field.Opening hours 2020:

Opelbad

The guests of the Opelbad can not only look forward to the heated swimmer/non-swimmer pool and the paddling pool for the little visitors. The magnificent view over the city also makes a visit to the Opelbad a real experience. A Finnish sauna for up to 40 people, a large sunbathing lawn, as well as a playground and the possibilities for outdoor chess, volleyball and table tennis are also on the great offer.

Leisure and recreation facility Meerhofsee

In addition to the pools for swimmers and one for small children, the Meerhofsee facility naturally has even more to offer: If you don't want to do sports just by swimming, you can also play beach volleyball, basketball, football or even climb the climbing rock. For children there is a playground and the large sunbathing lawn with its numerous trees offers the perfect opportunity for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade. A kiosk and a grill hut are also available.

Pinta Beach Raunheimer Waldsee

This extensive natural beach bath has designated areas for swimmers, non-swimmers, surfers and a separate nudist area which cannot be seen. From 2019, the lido will have a new operator who wants to offer its guests all kinds of services. Therefore, in addition to the classic lido, there is now also the PINTA BEACH aquafunpark - a true paradise for all those who love climbing, sliding and jumping. However, the use of the aqua park costs extra, a detailed briefing is included.

Schultheis-Weiher Offenbach

A very popular bathing lake with idyllic sandy beach and separated nudist area. Embedded in the middle of a nature reserve, a respectful coexistence of man and nature is required here. Please note: Dogs, swimming equipment, boats, air mattresses etc. are not allowed! And the passage by car to the pond is not allowed due to the designation as a nature reserve.

opening hours: In summer 2020, the bathing season at the Schultheis pond will be cancelled!

Bathing lake Mörfelden-Walldorf

Accessible via B 44 in the direction of Groß-Gerau, exit Walldorf-Nord

The bathing lake Mörfelden-Walldorf is a popular destination not only for bathing enthusiasts in Frankfurt. Here you can relax in beach chairs, there is a beach volleyball court and table tennis tables, a barbecue area and much more, 1,80 € for youth/students

for parking you have to pay 4,00 € fees (for motorcycles 2,50 €)

Langener Waldsee

The Langener Waldsee is a real idyll and with 72,000 square metres of water surface the largest leisure and recreation centre in the Rhine-Main area. 900 metres of sandy beach and inviting sunbathing areas make the area around the extensive lake a popular destination for excursions. A large bicycle parking lot is available as well as a car parking lot. There are also beach volleyball courts, a snack and drink stand and a nudist area. However, dogs are not allowed to be brought along.

opening hours: The lido is open daily from 24.08. from 8 to 20.30 hours. The ticket office closes at 19.45 hrs, the beach is closed at 20.15 hrs.

Natural bath Schwalbach

The total 1340qm water surface of the natural bath is divided into three basins: One for swimmers with one-meter and three-meter diving boards, one for non-swimmers with a slide and another for small children with water games and bubble stones. The pool also has a playground, a beach volleyball field, a football field and table tennis tables. Of course there is also a large lawn for relaxing: When the natural swimming pool can be opened in the 2020 season is not yet certain.

Forest swimming pool Neu-Isenburg

Surrounded by a park of about two and a half hectares, the pools of the open-air swimming pool offer possibilities for cooling off, for sporting activities and simply for having fun. You can relax on the large lawn and under the old trees, while a large terrace is the perfect place for a delicious meal. For children there is a playground and a non-swimmer's pool with water games. Simply beautiful!

Waldschwimmbad Kronberg

The Waldschwimmbad Kronberg is open from May to about mid September. The special feature here is that the pools are filled with spring water from the Bürgel tunnel. The non-swimmer's area scores with a 50-metre slide, and there are also floor bubbles, a current channel, water cannon and back showers for even more bathing fun. Sunbathing terraces, a children's playground, a mother and child area and a restaurant also invite you to relax in the forest swimming pool.

Seedammbad Bad Homburg

The popular lake dam has no less than eleven pools to offer. There is also a 70-metre giant slide, a large sunbathing area, an area for senior citizens and, in summer, a nudist area. Here really everyone gets his money's worth.

Stadionbad Niederrad

The stadium pool offers a good selection of pools, from sports to paddling pools, everything is available. A paradise for water rats. There is a 10m diving tower, a 1 and 3m diving board and 5 and 7.5m platforms. A 118m slide and the Aqua Fun water playground are further highlights of the outdoor pool.

Silo_Bath

In addition to the 50m sports pool, the non-swimmer's pool with a wide slide, 1 and 3m diving boards, and a paddling pool, the Silobad also has a beach volleyball field, miniature golf, a playground and table tennis. No wonder it is a very popular family pool.

The Hausener Freibad has a combined swimmer and non-swimmer pool as well as a large play and sunbathing area with sunny and shady places. A special feature of the outdoor pool: The pool is heated. So you can safely go swimming here even in cloudy summer weather.

Freibad Eschersheim

The Eschersheim open-air swimming pool, often referred to as "Frankfurt's colourful bathing pearl", scores points with its large river-shaped pool, a giant wide slide, a children's playground, several sports facilities and its quiet location.

Riedbad Bergen-Enkheim

The Riedbad is heated - in case it's a bit cooler - and offers a 50m swimming pool, non-swimmer pools, 1, 3 and 5m diving boards, huge meadows for relaxing, as well as a fitness centre, a sauna area and an extensive aqua course programme.

The bathing time can be extended by 1 to 2 hours in the evening in midsummer weather.

Brentanobad

One of the largest sunbathing lawns in Frankfurt and a 220 m long natural stone pool invite you to sunbathe and swim. There is also a paddling pool and an extensive sports area. Beach volleyball players also get their money's worth.
