Inviting deckchairs at the beach party on the banks of the Main or even the lantern parade or the children's adventure cultural spectacle at the Orangerie - the 58th Hanau Bürgerfest once again presents festival visitors with a choice that is anything but easy in view of the wide range of attractions. However, at least one visit to the festival mile on the Main is a "must for all Hanau residents", says Mayor Claus Kaminsky and reminds us that it is only thanks to the great commitment of Hanau's associations that it is always possible to organise the three-day festival. "In recent years, we have counted up to 60,000 people in good weather," Hanau's mayor is pleased about the high acceptance of the traditional event, which is much more than just a cheerful party mile. From Friday, September 6, to Sunday, September 8, the city of Hanau, together with more than 60 associations, commemorates the successful reconstruction of the city, which was almost completely destroyed during the last days of the war. As a contribution of each individual to the design on the usual high level, is also this year admission.
