DJ BoBo is simply a phenomenon! Defying all trends and hypes, the Swiss with his distinctive dance-pop has been the most popular music export of the Swiss since the early 90s. Peter René Baumann succeeded with hits like "Pray", "Somebody Dance With Me", "Love Is All Round" and "Chihuahua" to trigger a real BoBo-Mania even in Asia and South America. In Europe, his name was on everyone's lips at the latest with his third album "World in Motion" and, together with colleagues such as Dr. Alban, Culture Beat and 2 Unlimited, stood for the heyday of the Eurodance era. While many of his companions at the time disappeared from the scene after the dance euphoria died down, the "King of Dance" managed to maintain his popularity over the years.
Besides his music, DJ BoBo secured a loyal fan base with his epochal live shows. Each tour has a very special motto, which is implemented down to the last detail. Especially the stage setups often turn into gigantic works of art, while the costumes of the singers and dancers reach almost Oscar-real virtuosity.
