Once upon a time there was a king's daughter called Snow White, a wicked, vain stepmother... and seven dwarfs.
"dwarves? Wait a minute. What does height matter anyway? It's not like it's "Cinderella, shoe size 37 ½". Or "Rapunzel and her 12-foot-long hair". Why isn't the fairy tale simply called "Snow White and the Seven Mountain Men?"
So the dwarves - excuse me - mountain men, with the help of Snow White's faithful nurse Irmgard, begin to tell their very own Snow White story. They don't always agree, each having their own unique take on events. As they tell the story, they slip into various roles: Snow White's father, King Gregor, the scheming steward Toadwang, the animal-loving huntsman Isaac, the magic mirror and Prince Edward. Even a few characters from other fairy tales have strayed into the story.
So we witness how Princess Snow White unexpectedly turns the lives of the Seven upside down, how they work together to defeat the evil stepmother - and how, along the way, they overcome their mutual prejudices about spoiled princesses or too-small men. A gripping and fast-paced story about friendship, tolerance and love.
