The Frankfurt-based Hindemith Quartet plays works by Claude Debussy (String Quartet, op.10), by Alfed Schnittke ("Canon in memoriam Igor Stravinsky"), by Latvian composer Anastasija Kadiša (b. 1985) and premieres a work by Darmstadt-born composer Alois Bröder (b. 1961).

Four string players, all outstanding orchestral and solo musicians, joined forces in 2008 under the name Hindemith Quartet. Paul Hindemith lived and worked in Frankfurt for many years and served as concertmaster and conductor in the Frankfurt Museum Orchestra - as did the majority of the quartet. Thus, in addition to working on the usual repertoire, the four have made it their mission, among other things, to bring Hindemith's oeuvre to a wider audience beyond Frankfurt's borders.

With: Ingo de Haas (violin), Joachim Ulbrich (violin), Thomas Rössel (viola) and Daniel Robert Graf (cello).
