No question: "The Lizard" is cult! Without detours and as shameless as a reptile can be, she speaks out what she thinks - whether her counterpart wants to hear it or not. Accompanied by puppeteer Michael Hatzius, she unfolds such a dynamic life of her own that at times the audience can't be sure who is actually leading whom and bringing them to life. In the process, the lizard pursues all kinds of world-shaking, mostly animal questions: Can a chicken have spiritual experiences? How do pigs mob each other? What is a camel looking for on the stalk of a tick? The audience is invited to a humorous audience with an open heart and a big mouth, and not infrequently becomes the focus of contemplation itself.
For more than 10 years, Hatzius has been on the stages of this world with the Lizard and other characters. When he is not live on the road with his animal friends, he enriches various TV formats.
