Once again in 2019, you can look forward to the annual Schlossplatzfest in the heart of the city - and for the fifth year in a row in front of the City Hall on Schlossplatz.
Organised by the "Interest Association for People with Disabilities - Sunrise" together with partners, such as Stadtleben.de. The opening will take place on Thursday, 20 June, from 1 pm.
"Encouraging instead of under-challenging" is the leitmotif of the Schlossplatzfest. Disabled people want to live their lives freely and self-determined. They deserve a place in the middle of society and not in the second row. Inclusion and participation starts in everyday life. The Schlossplatz Festival is a great sign of this, because it is more than just a day of action that focuses on the needs of people with disabilities. It is a civic festival that shows how inclusion is lived and succeeds in the midst of society.
