and Music for Empty Discos! You Guitarprayer is a psychedelic noise rock three-piece from Cologne, Germany, formed in 2016, consisting of Soheyl Nassary (vocals, guitar), Scharco (bass) and Spiro Kotsomitopoulos (drums). All band members have a long history of music in the indie noise realm (Nicoffeine, Tarngo, Clarkys Bacon, Genepool among others) and were on the cult label BluNoise Records, run by the much too early deceased German indie pope Guido Lucas. On their first longplayer "Art Won't Tear Us Apart Again", recorded in the band's own Neon Love Studio, mixed and mastered in Geneva's REC Studio by exquisite soundsmith Serge Moratell (The Young Gods, Ventura, Knut), YOU GUITARPRAYER ignite an extravagant sound scenario that fires atmospherically dense through several musical decades, possessing a basic sound orbit of explosive noise thunderstorm and refined fast-paced psychedelic rock with a massive freak out soul. This wild sound adventure is now to be released on all recordings and celebrated in the form of energetic live performances.Take a trip to the dark rainbow! The Black me: knee-deep in a morass of indie, rock and broken blues...... You could describe the band's sound as modern indie rock with a spacey, at times gritty blues-punk attitude . it's hard to quite categorize this sometimes beautiful, sometimes dirty thing. In addition to her own, more pop-heavy projects, singer Coco has found someone in guitarist and producer Oliver Rüger who seems to bring her modern indie pop sound to another time and place. With drummer Tobias Wehner, who played the area for a few years with his band Vanilla Junction with their scratchy, young BluesRock and made a splash as a singing drummer, the two formed THE BLACK ME in February 2018. In Oli Rüger's recording studio Bieber, many Frankfurt bands record their records. Here, THE BLACK ME are now also working on an album, which is to be released in autumn 2019 at the latest. The Slags: "The Bedrooms Tapes" tells stories of lovers and beds, of love and of burden(s) and of all the things that move life and make it exciting - and The Slags can truly sing a song about that: "The Slags were a hard-rocking female band in the nineties. Four upright "female power" girls did their thing. In 1996 they put the brakes on baby and solo projects. Guitarist Conni Maly established herself solo with her electronic project Lava 303, among others. Bassist Anja Kraft died in the midst of reunion efforts in October 2014. Now the three remaining members continue as a threesome, with male reinforcement on bass. With crowdfunding, they've produced "The Bedroom Tapes" and they're quieter than earlier material. Instead of punky rock'n'roll now the unplugged strumming guitar variety, which suits the three of them exceptionally well though. "Can't Stay" is upbeat like the casual swing of Kitty, Daisy & Lewis. "Just Let It Flow" is the Slags' new motto, sounding exactly as the title suggests. The bluesy "Perfume Of The Rose" has Alannah Myles "Black Velvet" touches. Harmonica or accordion of singer Bine Morgenstern, whose voice comes across wonderfully, brings further colour into the acoustic play now and then. Funky guitar then in "Standing In The Rain". We gladly accept the invitation to dance in "Dancing". Beautiful rebirth". (7,5 stars/Mike Borrink/eclipsed ROCKmagazin) The Slags with their Bedroom Tapes were now successfully on tour in January, among others in Hamburg, Berlin and Cologne. And it goes on.

Candyjane: As if from endless expanses: Following in the footsteps of American folk, blues and country music, Candyjane create their very own high lonesome sound, part traditional songs, part original compositions that pay homage to the rain, sing of longing water snails, or are about everyday mantraps and black holes, bugs and extinct love. Western guitar, vocals, lapsteel guitar, double bass and cajon create longing vibrations, the laconic lyrics do the rest. Occasionally, the horses run away with them; but don't worry, stranger: Candyjane keep the reins in their hands.

Music for Empty Discotheques (MFLD for short) is the concentrate of many years of musical activity. From "The Dead Adair" to "Smiles In Boxes" to "Camp David" Frank Dippel and Stefan Greiner have worked their way through time. The band concept underwent a radical rebuild and today MFLD perform as a duo with a machine - a bow to their musical heroes and at the same time the link to current club culture. The musical style can be described as "Psychedelic - Electro - Pop" with analogue German lyrics": From the fidgety "Was Was Was" to the rocky-dark "Spiel süßer den Tod" and the club-ready " Woher kommt die Angst" to the epic-tinged "Zweitverwerter", "Musik für leere Diskotheken" present a broad spectrum of their musical versatility.
