Beautiful creeps in November: Murderers, crime scenes and crooks

Is it a coincidence that ARD aired its 1000th Tatort just in foggy November? Well, November already has a special flair: or starts well with the commemoration of the dead. What should I think of such a month? When the cemeteries are just about to open up? In contrast to us here in Central Europe, southern countries like Portugal have a completely different relationship with their dearly departed: There, no one is buried in the ground, but enters a tomb. For every visitor of the cemetery the family coffins are stacked like in a bunk bed. In the middle, nicely decorated with lace doilies, stands a small table with pictures of the dead. But even in daylight it gives you the creeps when the lid of some coffins has shifted. Which one of you would have taken a look inside? Well, hand out of heart?

Cemeteries in Frankfurt are numerous, and they can be visited with a guided tour. I highly recommend the main cemetery, where the philosopher Adorno, the writer Ricarda Huch and the poet Robert Gernhardt are buried. The old Jewish cemetery can also be visited by appointment. If you have always wondered where Goethe's parents are buried, you will find them in the Peterskirchhof. Not only that: many Dutch surnames indicate a close, especially economically based, relationship with the neighboring country.

Every child knows, of course, that not everyone dies a natural death. If another fiend has contributed to it, then becomes very prickly. Just the ARD broadcast the Tatort for the 1000th time. Reason enough for the citizen university in its series " crime scene research" everything around series, forensic medicine and much more to fathom. So several guests on 5.12. pursue the question, how the investigation work changes by modern methods. Doesn't that sound enormously exciting?

And if that's not creepy enough for you, you can simply creep through the city with actors in the dark. "Morticus" entertains with scary stories and makes your stomach tingle horribly!
