Film: Ey, horch amol! Do you already know Bembers? No? Then it is high time. Because the hardcore comedian from Nuremberg has risen in a very short time from YouTube phenomenon to large hall-filling comedy star. It all began in February 2011, when Bembers posted a video on YouTube on a whim. This quickly enjoyed such popularity that the Nuremberg native soon followed up with more clips in his distinctive fish-eye look. After he became more and more popular on the video portal, Bembers decided to tell his stories to a live audience. And so, in October 2011, he appeared on a cabaret stage for the first time with his program Voll in die Fresse. From the small guest performances has long grown an enormous tour success, which fans can now finally enjoy on DVD.

The first double DVD from the Bembers presents on the first disc over two hours of live program with lots of loud music and crude comedy. When Bembers tells about experiences from his favourite pub Burn Out, about a visit to the sauna or about his new tattoo, when he talks about his anti-aggression training in Jamaica or lets the viewer participate in the hardships he took on himself for the foundation of the FAG party, then it is mostly politically completely incorrect, very direct and damn funny. From time to time Bembers gets guests from the audience on stage and shows that he can also fire some amusing word volleys in direct, spontaneous interaction with his fans.

Admittedly, with some of the stories that Bembers tells, the boundaries of good taste are quite obviously crossed. When he tells in detail and with the help of accompanying pictures about his efforts to give his toilet the perfect sausage and to prove his love to his dream woman, then that is very, very special. But even if not all numbers of the extensive program work equally well, in the end a very positive overall impression remains. This is not only due to the fact that Bembers closes his performance with the number Bembers und der Neger (Bembers and the Negro), which has long been cult and in my eyes is the best and funniest contribution to xenophobia and against the right, which there has been in recent times.

Even if some terms outside the Franconian borders are known only to a few (so you might ask yourself right at the beginning, what a Seidla is), the program works just not only in Franconia. You can and should laugh about Bembers all over Germany. Best of all, of course, at a live performance. And if that's not possible, then by watching this DVD. For friends of the somewhat more direct hardcore comedy absolutely recommendable!

Picture + Sound: Picture and sound are on a good level for a live recording. The picture offers good overall sharpness and a coherent color mix, but is a bit dark at times. The sound lets the amusing monologues and the songs sound well understandable from the speakers. Possible difficulties could arise only if one is not at all powerful of the Franconian dialect.

Extras: The second DVD has plenty of amusing extras to offer. It starts off with some of the best YouTube videos that made Bembers popular. The videos are very funny and only one of them you already know if you watched the program on the first DVD. The only thing that is a little annoying is that the videos can be viewed in a small window and not in full screen mode.

Continue with the menu item Bembers on the Road, where the viewer gets to accompany Bembers to the dentist, to Rock in the Park or to a radio interview. In addition, there are three songs and some amusing Unart pictures, which can be seen under the menu item Bembers VernisArsch. Finally, Bembers tells his fans something about his history and how he came to comedy. A Making of the DVD closes the amusing and quite extensive bonus material. Very good!

Conclusion: Bembers LIVE is comedy of a different kind. The Franconian hardcore comedian has become in a very short time from YouTube phenomenon to the celebrated Rampensau and has long been far outside his home Nuremberg many enthusiastic fans. Bembers is loud, politically incorrect and hits some fine minds with his humor in the truest sense full in the face. The double DVD of the first live program offers not only the over two hours long show, but also a lot of amusing bonus material. Fans will get their money's worth! If you like comedy of a different kind, you shouldn't miss this DVD of the unique hardcore comedian. Recommendable
