The Ultimate Wave Tahiti 3D

Kelly Slater is undoubtedly an icon in the surfing scene. The nine-time world champion is always on the lookout for new and very special challenges. Slater searches for the perfect wave in the new 3D film "The ultimate wave Tahiti" together with surf legend Raimana Van Bastolaer among others at the popular surf spot Teahupoo on Tahiti, which is loved as well as feared for its huge waves.

Director Stephen Low and his team have accompanied the two surf pros on Tahiti and around the islands of French Polynesia, capturing images that once again prove what 3D is really made for. The viewer is immersed here in a magical world, the waves crash almost palpably above the heads of the audience, you stand directly with Slater and the other surfers on the boards and experience the intense thrill of the ultimate wave in a particularly intense way.
