As one of the most beautiful festivals in our region, the four-day folk festival attracts about 400,000 visitors to the spa town every year.
The Bad Homburg Lantern Festival is a fair and a folk festival at the same time and offers a wide range of sales, events and attractive leisure activities for the whole family.
On the festival mile, which extends over the entire city center, from the town hall to the fairground at the Heuchelbach.
A rich culinary offer and a huge selection of drinks are provided at the food and beverage stands.
On the stages at the Kurhaus, Waisenhausplatz, Marktplatz and in the old town, a varied music program for everyone is offered on each festival day from 19:00.
In the entertainment area on the fairground at the Heuchelbach you will find modern, fast-paced high-tech rides, family rides, amusement rides and various children's carousels.
A brilliant fireworks display in the anniversary park says goodbye to you festival visitors on Monday evening until next year.

The Lantern Festival 2023 will take place from 01 to 04 September. From Friday to Monday, the spa town then turns again into a huge party mile.
Everything shines, everything sparkles, everything glitters: from the Louisenstraße, over the Ritter-von-Marx-Brücke to the large fairground at the Heuchelbach, booths, food stalls, wine and beer gardens and of course carousels line up. In the city center, on the rustic Weed in the old town, in front of the castle and under bridge arches, rock and pop bands play - live, of course. But the Bad Homburg Lantern Festival can also be quiet and romantic. Then namely, if one turns in one of the many beautiful backyards of the old town.
You should also not miss the two processions with motif floats and music groups on Saturday and Sunday, where of course also the charming Bad Homburg lantern queen can be admired once very close.

Kids parade on Monday, Mon 4.9, 20:30 from Brunnenallee to Jubiläumspark
Closing ceremony on Monday, 4.9.: Closing ceremony in the Jubilee Park from 20 clock with Flammershow (from about 21.30/21.40 clock)
