24 November The Christmas decorations are switched on and the Christmas stalls open
26.11. to 28.11. Kasperle Theatre on stage, between 3 and 5 p.m. each day
28.11. Black Friday: shops are open until 10 p.m. 29 November 4 p.m. Eschersheim Family Choir on stage 3 December Choir flash mob on International Day of Persons with Disabilities: over 200 musicians and choir members from 14 choirs transform the NWZ into a large stage for active inclusion. The Walking Santas will be out and about in the centre between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. singing Christmas carols. 12 December, 3 p.m. Specht Rupprecht – A Christmas adventure in Frankfurt. A funny Christmas story for children aged 6 to 11 about the friendship between a little bird and Father Christmas. A woodpecker that can talk? That's impossible! And he wants to become Santa Claus's helper? It's hard to believe! But that's exactly how the story begins in the middle of Frankfurt's city forest. Little by little, the woodpecker and Santa Claus become a really great team and deliver presents to the children together. It's not that easy – the two of them have to overcome quite a few adventures. And what can we learn from this? That it's always good when young and old want to make a difference together!
13 December: The Walking Santas will be out and about in the centre between 2 and 5 p.m. singing Christmas carols. Kasperle Theatre on stage between 3 and 5 p.m. each day. 19 December, 5 p.m. The Women's Police Choir sings on stage. 20 December, 2.30 p.m. A Korean women's choir sings in front of the stage. On all Saturdays during Advent, Father Christmas and his angel will be there waiting for the children with a sweet surprise on the bridge by the big Christmas tree. Our mascot Nordi will also be visiting us.
Regular opening hours:
Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On 20 December and 27 December, the shops will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On 24 December and 31 December, shops will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
