The Christmas town of Bad Homburg 2025 will open its doors from 20 November 2025 to 11 January 2026 and invites you to visit its beautifully decorated town centre.
With Starlight in the city centre and at the Kurhaus, Christmas market at the castle, Advent magic at Kurhausplatz and Louisenstraße and, of course, the enchanting Ice winter in the spa gardens, we take you to the Christmas town of Bad Homburg.

This year, you can once again look forward to numerous hands-on activities and Christmas events.
One of the highlights is the Romantic Christmas Market at the castle, which takes place in and around Bad Homburg Castle on all four Advent weekends. Once a year, the whole of Bad Homburg is transformed into a romantic Christmas town. Traditional handicrafts from local and regional exhibitors, delicacies such as bratwurst, tarte flambée, pulled salmon burgers, chestnuts and waffles invite you to linger and enjoy the romantic atmosphere. The little train steams and chimes as it makes its rounds in the castle courtyard.u0022>But even during the week, the residents of Bad Homburg and visitors to the town do not have to miss out on the Christmas atmosphere. In addition to lovingly decorated shop windows and dazzling lights in the town centre, visitors can once again look forward to the magic of Christmas at the Kurhaus and in the town centre from 20 November onwards – with huts offering Christmas goods and treats, a children's carousel and the dazzling Christmas forest at the Kurhaus.
Young and old alike can take to the ice in the spa gardens. Curling and ice skating are once again available this year around the Kaiserbrunnen fountain in Bad Homburg's 8th Ice Winter. Skate hire, hot drinks and food make the visit even more enjoyable. Whether it's an ice disco or a company event, this is a wonderful place to spend the Christmas season.
