His name is popping up more and more frequently on the front ranks of the annual best of German rap lists, and no wonder. Disarstar manages to combine the gruff directness of street and battle rap with pointed socio-political observations like no one else at the moment. With this he raises the level of the German rap landscape considerably.
Irony and displayed wittiness are fortunately not to be found in his world, this would also be absolutely incompatible with the weighty content of his lyrics - instead you will find all the more attitude and a wide-awake mind with razor-sharp powers of observation.
