Von Teese's burlesque revue Glamonatrix takes the audience on an exciting visual journey, in which one breathtaking performance follows the next. The glamorous variety show features extravagant new show numbers by Dita Von Teese and her ensemble in costumes created by famed corset maker Mister Pearl, British designer Jenny Packham, French couturier Alexis Mabille, burlesque icon Catherine D'Lish, the Brooke Brothers and other renowned designers. Shoe lovers can feast their eyes on Christian Louboutin's extraordinary creations.
Glamonatrix follows Dita Von Teese's production of "The Art Of The Teese," the most successful burlesque tour of all time with sold-out shows in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia. With "The Art Of The Teese", the burlesque star celebrated the triumphant debut of her first own show program in Europe: The sensational production was sold out on five nights at The London Palladium, among other venues. It graced the stages of venerable theaters and even the royals attended the show at the Opera Garnier in Monaco.
The new show Glamonatrix offers a varied evening full of exciting and entertaining moments and sophisticated striptease - a tribute to beauty in a variety of forms. Far from a conventional burlesque show, Dita Von Teese has instead modernized and developed the classic variety shows of the 1940s with a great deal of style and even more flair - equally attractive for men and women. Always one step ahead of the times, the artist has once again assembled an international cast of promising young talents for the new show Glamonatrix, who will celebrate on stage a feast of the body and aesthetics without equal.
