Frankfurt Christmas Market

At the end of the 14th century, it was first mentioned in a document, the Frankfurt Christmas market, which is thus the oldest Christmas market in Germany after Bautzen. In the last hundred years, the magnificently decorated market has also established itself as one of the largest and most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany. Over three million visitors attract the colorful booths around the Römerberg, the heart of the Frankfurt Christmas market, year after year.

This year, the Frankfurt Christmas market is to be held again as usual and without restrictions. From November 21 to December 22, there will be again a little more stalls than in 2021.On the Friedrich Stoltze Square, it will again be the popular pink Christmas market.Also the visit from Santa Claus (06.12., 17:10 clock), as well as the Advent concerts "International Christmas" are again on the program this year.

Opening hours: Monday - Saturday: 10.00 - 21.00, Sunday: 11.00 - 21.00

Not to be missed is the Christmas market Frankfurt artists. The sales exhibition of Frankfurt artists with painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, graphics, jewelry, textiles, wood and paper works can be seen in the Paulskirche and in the Römerhallen.
