The Frankfurt Dippemess, which takes place in spring and autumn at the fairground on Ratsweg in front of the ice rink, is the largest folk festival in the Rhine-Main area, attracting around 2 million visitors (spring and autumn combined).
The festival still offers the "Dippe" that gave it its name (though now only at two stands), but its main attractions are its rides and food stands.
