It's finally time again! The Goetheturmfest will once again take place in the shadow of the new tower this year: From Friday, August 16, to Sunday, August 18, the Goetheturmfest will celebrate the rebuilt tower. The Sachsenhausen associations present their festival with a small program of live music, festival beer and bratwurst.
From Friday, 16 August to Sunday, 18 August, the people of Frankfurt celebrate their favourite observation tower. If you want to save yourself the long walk to the Goetheturm or the even more tedious search for a parking space, you can be chauffeured quickly and relaxed by line 48.
From Friday afternoon, the municipal public transport company traffiQ is doubling the service on the line: the 48 runs every quarter of an hour on Friday until midnight, on Saturday from 12 noon to midnight and on Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm to the Goetheturm and, of course, back.
Program
With Winwets Partyrock on 16 (Friday) and Fishbone Trash on 17 (Saturday). August (Saturday), two rock cover bands will be playing in the evening program this year.
Saturday also offers something new for both young and old visitors during the day: The Sachsenhäuser Schutzfrau offers a bicycle coding campaign, the Immanuel parish and the Sachsenhausen Youth Center provide information about their services at two information stands and entice visitors with a range of games and face painting for children.
And we look forward to Tina Zapf-Rodriguez, City Councillor and Head of the Department for Climate, Environment and Women's Issues, tapping the keg beer.
