A century of basketball history is coming to Frankfurt: in spring 2026, the Harlem Globetrotters will be visiting the Main metropolis with their "100 Year Tour". The legendary ensemble, founded in Chicago in 1926, is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a world tour and bringing its blend of athletic precision, artistic creativity and entertaining staging to the Frankfurt Arena.
The Globetrotters have always stood for their own interpretation of basketball. Trick shots from long distances, spectacular dunks, fast-paced passing sequences and comedic interludes combine to create a show that uniquely blends sport and entertainment. They are traditionally accompanied by their long-time rivals, the Washington Generals.
In addition to the game itself, the event offers exclusive additional options: with the "Celebrity Court Pass", visitors gain access to the court during the warm-up, while the "Magic Pass" allows for personal encounters, autographs and photos with the players. Guests can get particularly close to the action with the player bench fantasy ticket, which provides seats right next to the court.
The Harlem Globetrotters look back on an eventful history – from sporting successes in the 1940s to social milestones and induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Today, they reach millions of spectators worldwide with their performances and combine sporting achievement with a clear commitment to respect, diversity and fairness.
